Updated Senior Fare Policy - RFTA and Ride Glenwood Springs

RFTA has recently announced that it will begin requiring Seniors to present photo ID on all RFTA regional routes.  ID will also be required to qualify for the free Senior fare on Ride Glenwood Springs buses.

Seniors should notify the driver of their status when boarding the bus and be prepared to show a valid photo ID with proof of age.

The following forms of ID will be accepted:

  • Any State or other Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID Card, Passport, etc.)
  • Free RFTA Senior ID Pass

Free RFTA Senior ID passes are available at the Rubey Park Transit Center at 450 E. Durant Avenue in Aspen or the Aspen Maintenance Facility at 51 Service Center Road.  To obtain a RFTA Senior ID pass, you must show a valid form of ID with a birth date.  Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  No appointment is necessary.
