Tree Ordinance
The Parks Department encourages all property owners to adhere to our Street Tree code and help keep our public green spaces clean and thriving. For information on planting, removing and caring for trees on both public and private property in Glenwood Springs please see the Glenwood Springs Municipal Code Title 090.

Public Tree Install/Removal Permit
It is against the law for any person to plant, remove, destroy or cause to be planted, removed, or destroyed any tree in or upon the public right-of-way or other public property within the City of Glenwood Springs without having first obtained a written permit to do so. To request permission to remove or install a tree on public property, please complete the Public Tree Removal Installation Permit application.
