Grant applications for the City's Discretionary Grant Program and Tourism Promotion Grant, managed by the Financial Advisory Board, open on Jan. 2, 2017. Applications are due March 17, 2017.
Each year, the City of Glenwood Springs allocates a portion of sales tax revenues from its Acquisitions and Improvements Fund for human services, special events, and other public purposes as City Council deems appropriate. These funds are distributed through a Discretionary Grant Program, managed by the City’s Financial Advisory Board (FAB). The FAB makes recommendations to the City Council, which makes final determinations of grant awards.
