City and CDOT officials would like to meet with property owners in the Red Mountain, Overlin Drive and Cowdin Drive area to discuss traffic impacts and neighborhood access during the Grand Ave. Bridge detour.
The City of Glenwood Springs and the Colorado Department of Transportation are working together to communicate with property owners and residents who will be impacted by traffic associated with the Grand Avenue Bridge detour, which will start on August 14, 2017. The Grand Avenue Bridge and new pedestrian bridge over the Colorado River, when completed, willprovide a critical multimodal connection between Interstate 70 and the Roaring Fork Valley. In order to build the traffic bridge section over the Colorado River, there will be a 95-day detour of the traffic from the Grand Avenue Bridge to the 114 Exit in West Glenwood and Midland Avenue.
City and CDOT officials would like to meet with property owners in the Red Mountain, Overlin Drive and Cowdin Drive area to discuss traffic impacts and neighborhood access during the detour. A neighborhood meeting will be held at the Community Center on Monday, Feb. 27 at 5:30pm.
