Do you have just a couple hours a month to contribute to your community? The City of Glenwood Springs is looking for applicants to fill vacancies on various boards and commissions.
From sitting in quasi-judicial capacities hearing land use to making recommendations regarding budgeting and grant funds, trails, parks, recreation, housing, transportation, and compensation to victims of crimes, these boards and commissions could use your help:
Arts and Culture Board
One regular seat with term to expire February, 2021. One youth representative under the age of 18 and has not completed their final year of high school, to serve one year
Building Board of Appeals
One regular seat, applicant must reside within city limits, with term to expire February, 2021
Downtown Development Authority
One regular seat with term to expire June, 2021
Parks and Recreation Commission
One regular seat with term to expire February, 2020 and one alternate seat with term to expire February, 2021
Planning and Zoning Commission
One alternate seat with term to expire February, 2021
Transportation Commission
One alternate seat with terms to expire February, 2021
