Down trees throughout Glenwood Springs are causing impacts on power outages and roadways.
Heavy snow fall this morning, October 11, 2018, has caused many trees to fall down throughout Glenwood Springs. Down trees are blocking roadways and causing several power outages.
Electric crews are getting to the power outages as quickly as they can but residents should expect intermittent outages for the remainder of the day as they work toward restoration.
Street crews are out removing down trees in public right of way and on public land. Residents may take fallen trees from private properties to the old rodeo grounds, near the Glenwood Springs Municipal Airport. Please note: branches and trees cannot be dumped at the leaf collection site.
