Construction on the abutments for the pedestrian and traffic bridges is tracking well. The new pedestrian bridge is expected to be brought onto site for preparation work in the coming weeks and installation is anticipated to begin in June. This installation will require a night closure of the 27th Street Bridge and South Grand Avenue intersection and the Roaring Fork River. Dates for travel impacts will be announce via ConeZone - stay tuned for more information.
Save the Dates: Upcoming Informational Meetings
Please join the 27th Street Bridge project team for a community information meeting on Wednesday, May 29 at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. Drop-in is 5:30-7 PM with a short presentation at 6 PM followed by a Q&A session. All are welcome. Light refreshments provided.
There is also an informational meeting on Monday, May 20 at 6 PM at the Glenwood Springs Public Library that will focus primarily on river impacts for commercial and recreational river users.
