27th Street Bridge: Know Before You Go Aug. 1-9
Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2:
- Motorists should anticipate periodic lane closures during off peak hours and short intermittent holds from 9AM-3PM. Delays anticipated. Plan extra travel time through the area. These holds are for crane operations for the construction of the new traffic bridge.
- Pedestrian access remains open with detours. Follow signage and flagger instruction.
- For CDOT CO 82 curb ramp improvements, there are no right turns onto 27th Street from eastbound (upvalley) CO 82. Use 23rd Street for alternate access.
Tuesday, August 6 and Wednesday, August 7:
- S. Grand Ave. closed 8 PM-6 AM (between Penrose Plaza and Berthoud Motors) for utility work. No thru S. Grand Ave. traffic access. The 27th Street Bridge and business access remain open.
