Beginning at 1 PM on Thursday, January 2, the 27th Street pedestrian bridge will be closed for crews to form, pour and cure the final sidewalk connections on both sides of the pedestrian bridge. The northern access to Atkinson Trail at 27th Street will also be closed. This closure will remain in effect until approximately 8 PM on Sunday, January 5 when the concrete has cured and is safe to walk on. For alternate access across the river, pedestrians and bicyclists should use the Old Cardiff Bridge or the 14th Street Bridge.
