[ARCHIVED] Request for volunteers on boards and commissions

Do you want to become more engaged with your community? During this annual drive for volunteers, the City of Glenwood Springs is looking for applicants to fill vacancies and expired terms on various boards and commissions.

There are multiple openings available on the Building Board of Appeals, Financial Advisory Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Tourism Promotion Board. All positions will expire in February 2023.

More information can be found at http://www.cogs.us/101/Leadership. Applications are also found on each board or commission page and are due on January 17, 2020 by 5 PM through the online application submission form.

Openings

Building Board of Appeals

One current or former firefighter, licensed fire alarm installer or fire code inspector, one contractor, and one engineer. These positions may reside outside of the City but within the 81601 zip code area or own real property or a business within the City with a term to expire February 2023.

Financial Advisory Board

Three regular seats with terms to expire February 2023.

Planning and Zoning Commission

Two regular seats with terms to expire February 2023.

Tourism Promotion Board

Two seats representing tourism, within the City with terms to expire February 2023.
