[ARCHIVED] Spring Cleanup 2020 Postponed

The City of Glenwood Springs has postponed this year’s Spring Cleanup until further notice. City staff and departments are currently performing only essential services to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in our community.

Free vouchers to the South Canyon Landfill will be available for residents who need to dispose of debris over the next few months. Vouchers will be good for up to one personal sized pickup-truck load of non-hazardous materials. Please email springcleanup@cogs.us or call 970-384-6449 for more information on how to obtain a voucher.

Placing debris in any area of the City, including outside of your residence, is prohibited and will not be collected. Those in violation of this ordinance are subject to a fine. Violations should be reported to the Police Department at 970-384-6500.

The South Canyon Landfill and Recycle Center remain open to the public at this time. For a list of items accepted at the Landfill, please visit www.cogs.us/170/Landfill.

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day has also been postponed. We will announce rescheduled dates as soon as they are determined.
