[ARCHIVED] Reminder to Glenwood Springs Voters

The City of Glenwood Springs is conducting a mail ballot election. Election Day is Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Ballots were mailed out on March 23, 2020.

If you have not received your ballot, call the City Clerk at 970-384-6403 or email the Clerk at Catherine.fletcher@cogs.us

Voters are encouraged to place their ballots in the 24/7 grey ballot box located in front of the County on 8th street (no postage required). 

During the COVID-19 outbreak it is imperative that we all take extra safety precautions to keep everyone safe.   Public access to City Hall is restricted at this time.  On Election Day, only one person will be allowed in to City Hall to vote at a time.  Please return your mail ballot to the grey ballot box and avoid City Hall if possible. 

Ballots must be returned to the City Clerk by 7:00 P.M. on April 14, 2020. Postmarks do not count.   

Face Coverings required. All persons shall wear Face Coverings a. when entering and while inside of a place or conveyance open to the public, and b. in such other public indoor or outdoor places where persons are unable to maintain safe social distancing (six or more feet separation) from others not of their own household, Public Health Order No. 2, Series 2020.

Exceptions:

a. Nothing herein shall require the wearing of face coverings by the following persons:

i) Persons under the age of two years; and

ii) Persons for whom a face covering would cause impairment due to an existing health condition.

iii) Persons working in a professional office who do not have any face-to-face interactions with the public.
