South Midland Reconstruction Project Community Information Meetings
Two virtual meetings scheduled for November 12
GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO – The City of Glenwood Springs is rebuilding the South Midland Avenue corridor. This 18-month reconstruction project will better serve the South Glenwood Springs Community. This roadway is prone to potholes, intersections have poor site lines, the corridor experiences regular rockfall events, there are gaps in pedestrian infrastructure and traffic volumes are on the rise. Approximately one-third of Glenwood Springs residents use this corridor, so that is why it is critical to Keep South Midland Moving. Construction is expected to begin in December 2020 and continue through summer 2022.

Spanish interpretation is also available at each session.
“These two virtual meetings will establish a kick off to our public information and outreach program throughout the project timeline,” said City of Glenwood Springs Project Manager for South Midland Ryan Johnson. “We have a lot of work ahead so please tune in and learn more about how to Keep South Midland Moving.”
