Midland Ave. Closure at Veltus Park - No through access August 11-13

• Midland Avenue is closed through the evening of Friday, August 13 between the Veltus Park entrance and West 10th Street. Motorists should only use Midland for local access. There is no northbound access past the closure point on Midland Ave. or through the Red Mountain South Subdivision. Through motorists should use CO-82/Grand Ave. 
• Access to Veltus Park remains open from the 8th Street and Midland Avenue intersection.

City Road Striping on August 12

• City crews will be road striping all day throughout town on Thursday, August 12 beginning at 9 a.m.
• Streets to be striped include sections of Midland, Blake, Pitkin, Colorado, Cooper, 8th-11th, 14th, Donegan, Soccerfield, Deveroux, S. Grand, 23rd and Mount Sopris 

I-70 Eastbound Closure to No Name on August 12 

• No Name Residents: City Electric Department crews will temporarily close eastbound I-70 from the main Glenwood exit 116 to the No Name exit 119 on Thursday, August 12 from 7:30-8:45 p.m. This 45-minute closure is to remove a steel pole on south side of I-70 across from Hot Springs Pool.  
• Note - I-70 eastbound is only open past exit 116 for local, No Name residents only.

South Midland Ave. (Keep South Midland Moving Project)

• Regular lane closure hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

CO 82 and 14th Street/11th Street Intersections -  CDOT CO 82 and CO 133 Signal Replacement Project 

• The CDOT signal replacement project on CO 82/Grand Avenue will occur at 11th Street and 14th Street and on CO 133 at Village Road and Meadowood Drive. Motorists should plan for street closures, turn lane closures, and lane closures on CO 82.

I-70 Exit 116 and 114 intermittent ramp closures - CDOT Wrong Way Detection Project

• The Region 3 Wrong Way Detection Project will be conducted at 87 off-ramp locations along I-70 including the main Glenwood (MP 116) and West Glenwood (MP 114) off-ramps.
