Members of Glenwood Springs City Council hosted an airport listening session on February 24 where residents could learn more about the recent findings of the Airspace Study and weigh in on various airport and South Bridge planning areas. Following the listening session, City Council is scheduled to provide direction on several related items during the March 17 regular council meeting.
An online version of the listening session is available online including all the same meeting materials and questions. Individuals unable to attend the session in-person can view materials for the session and provide comment online at https://cogs.us/341/Airport until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 3. Comments may also be submitted by email to AirportComments@cogs.us.
A discussion of airport decisions following the listening session was originally scheduled for March 3, but has been moved to allow sufficient time to record written comment. Community comments from the listening session and the online portal will be included in the packet for the March 17 meeting which is anticipated to be published on March 14.
