Exit 116, 8th St. CLOSURE and Grand Avenue Bridge Lane Closures
I-70 Eastbound Exit 116 On-ramp CLOSURE and Off-ramp Lane Reduction
Friday, April 29th, I-70 Exit 116 eastbound on-ramp will be CLOSED and the eastbound off-ramp will be in a one-lane configuration from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. This closure is necessary to complete pipe work at the ramp terminal.
8th St. CLOSURE from Colorado Avenue to Grand Avenue
Beginning Monday, May 2nd to Thursday, May 5th, 8th St. will be CLOSED from Colorado Avenue to Grand Avenue. This is a 24-hour closure for a waterline tie-in on 8th St.
Access to 8th St. businesses will remain open during this road closure.
8th St. Detour Information: Motorists should use 9th St. as an alternative route.
On the Grand Avenue Bridge
The Grand Avenue Bridge will be down to three lanes beginning Monday, May 2nd. During the morning rush hour, two lanes will be given to up-valley traffic, and in the evening rush hour two lanes will be given to down valley traffic. This closure is necessary for construction equipment to access the 7th St. utility project.
Pedestrian Information
Crosswalk at 6th St. and Pine Street
The contractor is working on a crosswalk at the intersection of 6th St. and Pine Street. Look for this project to be complete within the week.
Motorists are reminded to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.
