The City of Glenwood Springs invites the community to participate in the next Comprehensive Plan Open House sessions on April 20.
Following several months of outreach on the Comprehensive Plan, this event will summarize the major themes heard so far. During the Open Houses, the consultants will also be taking input regarding important attributes of the City and neighborhoods, information City leaders should prioritize as they look 10 years into the future, and ways to embrace the culture of a changing community. The meeting will be a drop-in format, without a presentation.
There will be two sessions on April 20:
What: Community Input for the Comprehensive Plan Update
When: 11:30am – 1:30pm or 5:30pm – 7:30pm on April 20
Where: Community Center, 100 Wulfsohn Road
Refreshments, kids’ activities, and Spanish interpretation will be provided.
The Vision Glenwood Comprehensive Plan Update process will re-establish the community's goals for the future and provide direction for decisions affecting the way we grow, live, play, and work. It is a year-long effort to expand on top issues and priorities and define a vision for a safe and inclusive community that values its cultural, historical and natural resources. During the process Glenwood Springs residents will discuss the city’s various planning areas, what the community thinks is working, and what areas should change, building upon the previous 2011 Comprehensive Plan.
