The City of Glenwood Springs will be conducting a very important phone survey starting Tuesday, June 14. The survey includes 12 questions exploring community sentiment on either a sales tax on the admission price to places and events that are open to the public, including attractions, or increasing lodging tax charged on hotel and short-term rental stays to fund affordable housing solutions.
“The cost and availably of housing are significant issues facing many of our city’s residents and employees who work at locally owned businesses,” said Affordable Housing Committee Member Sumner Schacter. “To be a thriving community, with a high quality of life and strong economy for everyone here, we must work together to address our city’s housing needs. This survey will help us gather feedback on some potential solutions to tackle local housing needs.”
Your responses will have a direct impact on decisions affecting your community in the future. Individual answers are confidential, and the survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete.
In addition to the phone polling, the survey will be offered online.
Make your voice heard by sharing your opinion and participating in the survey by Friday, June 17.
