Update 2/13, 8:30 PM - Midland Avenue is fully reopened. Crews have begun restoring power and expect all areas to be restored in the next few hours.

Update February 13, 7:45 PM - Midland Ave. between 10th Street and 13th Street remains closed with no through traffic. Midland Ave is reopened from 8th to 10th Street and 13th to 27th Street. Local residents can access their homes.
- River Meadows residents can access from 8th and Midland.
- Red Mountain residents can access from Red Mountain Drive and Midland by Yampah High School.

Areas of Glenwood Springs including the Red Mountain area and South Glenwood are being affected by a power outage. City crews are onsite responding. Motorists should expect an extended closure of Midland Avenue between 8th Street and 27th Street. There is currently no estimate for power to be restored or for the road to be reopened.
